Hallie Shoffner
CEO
Hallie is the youngest child of SFR Seed founders, John and Wendy Shoffner. She grew up working alongside her mother assisting with field trials. Hallie has a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and her master's from the University of Arkansas Little Rock.
Hallie is married and has a young son, Maxwell.
Dustin Pickelmann
Research Manager
Dustin is a native of Greenville, Mississippi, and has his bachelor's degree from Delta State University. He started his ag career at the USDA Agricultural Research Station in Stoneville, Mississippi, and has gained over a decade of experience in agricultural field research at Mississippi State and the University of Arkansas research station in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
Dustin lives in McCrory with his wife, Stacy. He likes to hunt and work on his house.
Octavio Martinez
Irrigation & Equipment Specialist
Octavio is our longest serving SFR Seed team member. He joined the team in 1996 and manages the farm's irrigation systems.
Octavio lives on the farm with his wife, sons, and daughter. He's the guy on the farm that really knows his stuff, and he lights up a room with his thousand-watt smile.
Scott Loftin
Warehouse & Fleet Maintenance
A veteran of the US Marine Corps, Scott is a whiz mechanic and assistant to Kyle in the seed conditioning plant.
Scott lives in Newport with his son, Anthony. Scott can fix pretty much anything, and he doesn't say much, so when he does, you'd better listen!
Damian Morales
Maintenance & Irrigation
Damian is the most recent addition to the SFR Seed team and has quickly learned the tools of the trade in irrigation and equipment maintenance.
Damian is Octavio's nephew and inherited his uncle's smarts and that Martinez smile.
